A taster of what our hospitality guests experienced throughout their day during the One Day International.
On Friday 24 June the international season got off to an exciting start here at Edgbaston, we saw England take on Sri Lanka during a thrilling One Day International. We’re delighted to say the cricket and weather didn’t disappoint our guests as England secured a well-deserved win in glorious sunshine.
The fixture was a sell out throughout the stadium, including our hospitality facilities, which brought together world-class play, with one of cricket’s finest hospitality experiences.
Here’s just a taster of what our guests experienced throughout their day…
In our exclusive Executive Boxes and premium Warwickshire Suite guests enjoyed a delightful 4-course a la carte lunch which included duck liver parfait, air dried sirloin beef and a classic banoffee pie. After which guests took a short stroll to their top-quality padded match seat to soak up the electric atmosphere.
Guests in The 1882 Club, Aylesford Boxes and RES Wyatt Boxes enjoyed a mouth-watering 3 course a la carte menu, as well as a delightful afternoon tea which encompassed crumbly scones with sweet strawberry jam and cream, as well as hearty focaccia and scotch eggs.
In our recently updated Edgbaston Experience Club, guests took full advantage of the upgrades, enjoying play from the new balcony, as well as their match seat, relaxing in the informal atmosphere and trialling out the new menu made from locally sourced ingredients.
