However, it wasn’t enough as Bears fell short of Durham’s imposing 194/9 target.
“It was another disappointing loss and, again, a run chase we thought was gettable,” said the all-rounder. “It may have been slightly over par, but I thought it was in our reach as we’ve done it time and time before.”
Speaking of his own performance, Bethell added: “I’m pleased, but again, got a few in a run chase where we couldn’t get over the line. On a personal level it’s nice to get some runs and contribute in the field.”
