Bears fans have the unique opportunity to bid for a place in the playing squad for a future Vitality Blast fixture in the name of charity.

As part of the Together Through This Test cricket-wide auction, which ends on Sunday, the successful bidder will be invited along to a future Vitality Blast game at Edgbaston to join the Bears players on the pitch to watch the warm-ups and coin toss, take a tour of the iconic home dressing room area and then sit in the dugout with the players for the match.

The winning bidder will also be given a Bears shirt along with four match tickets for family and friends. All funds raised are being donated to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity and the NSPCC’s Childline Service in Birmingham.

In addition to the chance to become a member of the playing squad, the Club has also donated an Ultimate Edgbaston Package for the 2021 season, which includes two fully-inclusive hospitality places for Vitality Blast Finals Day, two tickets England’s International T20 versus Sri Lanka, four tickets to Edgbaston Fireworks Extravaganza and a signed Bears Shirt.

At the end of the auction, all funds raised will be added to the monies raised by Warwickshire CCC and Edgbaston staff through the 2.6 Challenge – which has already raised more than £6,500 with gift aid – and subsequently donated to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity and the NSPCC Childline service in Birmingham.
