Warwickshire have secured Derbyshire opener Billy Godleman on a 14-day loan.
The 34-year-old, who will play in the Second XI fixture against Durham which starts today, will provide top order cover.
West Indian Opener Kraigg Brathwaite was signed ahead of the Surrey fixture to help aid a batting unit that’s without Alex Davies, Rob Yates and Jacob Bethell.
Sport Director Gavin Larsen said: “Billy is an experienced top order batter who will give us another option in the upcoming weeks.
“Billy will play in the Second XI this week with a view to challenge for a place against Northamptonshire at Edgbaston on Sunday.”
