Bears spinner Danny Briggs and wicket-keeper/batter Chris Benjamin have been drafted by Team Abu Dhabi in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 tournament, which gets underway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next month.
With Team Abu Dhabi to be led by Bears Director of Cricket Paul Farbrace, who was appointed Head Coach earlier in the week, Briggs and Benjamin will fly out to the UAE ahead of the 16-day tournament start on 19 November.
Within the squad, the Bears join the likes of Birmingham Phoenix and England all-rounder Liam Livingstone, Windies superstar Chris Gayle and former Bears loan star and Windies fast bowler Fidel Edwards in the squad.
Team Abu Dhabi is one of eight teams in the fifth edition of the T10, which first launched in 2017. All games of the tournament will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, which is currently hosting matches in IPL.
