Warwickshire fast bowler Henry Brookes has been added to England Lions’ squad for the final group match of the List A Tri-Series with West Indies A and India A.
The 19-year-old, who has broken through for the Bears this season in First Class and List A cricket, will link up with the Lions squad in Northampton today ahead of tomorrow’s match versus West Indies A at Wantage Road.
Brookes made his debut for Warwickshire in the penultimate game of last season’s Specsavers County Championship, at home to Essex, and has gone on to play in five of the club’s seven Championship games this year.
To date he has taken 21 Championship wickets at an average of 25.71 and has also taken nine wickets at an average of 27.22 in the seven Royal London One-Day Cup games that he played for the Bears in 2018.
