Bears Women are today launching a new campaign designed to elevate and inspire Women’s Sport across Birmingham.
They have joined forces with Aston Villa Football Club, Birmingham Speedway, Birmingham Panthers Netball, and City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball for the Brumstoppable campaign which aims to promote women’s sport in the second city and inspire the next generation of athletes.
Marketing Manager, Beth Peers, said: “Birmingham has a rich history of Women’s Sports, most recently the Birmingham Commonwealth Games where it became the first major multi-sport event to have more events for Women than Men.
“This project, which is the first of its kind in the UK, will continue to showcase Birmingham as a hub city for Women’s Sport.”
Bears Women join the Birmingham sporting scene along with Birmingham Panthers Netball in 2025 with their debut seasons in their respective competitions, adding two more formidable forces in the women’s game to the rich offering already.
Brumstoppable will continue to develop over the coming months with exciting link ups and opportunities to come.
