The Bears overseas all-rounder hasn't skipped a beat during this year's Vitality Blast campaign.

The 32-year-old is the Bears top wicket taker with ten (17.40 average) and third highest run scorer following his 44 at Trent Bridge against the Notts Outlaws.

“So far so good,” Brathwaite said when asked how his Bears career has started.

“A good start with a few wins, a few wickets and a few celebrations as well, so I’m loving life.

“I’ve been made very welcome by the team and the admin and back room staff so I’m looking forward to continuing a good run and securing qualification first and foremost.”
