Warwickshire Academy player Charlie Taylor has been included in a 17-strong squad for England U19s to tour the Caribbean in November and December.
The 15-year-old was called up to the U19s squad in last month’s ongoing series against Bangladesh, but did not appear in the final two games, which were heavily affected by rain.
England will face the West Indies U19s in five Youth One-Day Internationals starting on November 13, as well as two fixtures of the same format against the United States U19s.
The matches will provide preparation ahead of the ICC U19 Men’s World Cup, which is to be staged in Namibia and Zimbabwe in early 2026.
England Men’s U19s Head Coach Michael Yardy said, “These will be important matches as we begin to fine-tune our plans for the U19s World Cup early next year. Both West Indies and the USA have qualified for that tournament and will provide a good test for our players.”
