All at Warwickshire County Cricket are saddened to learn of the passing of former Club staff member Margaret Brown at the age of 96.
Margaret part of the Club’s seasonal match day staff from 1966 to 2006 and led on production and distribution of all scorecards and Sunday League match programmes.
Having joined when the Club operated without a full range of digital technology, Margaret’s role saw her liaise with both captains at the toss for the relevant team information before updating the scorecard via a stencil, which was passed through a printer.
Margaret was a very popular figure with fellow staff, players and many Members and supporters of the Club. She will be sadly missed by many and our thoughts are certainly with her family and friends at this time.
