Randall to speak on 19 March
Former Nottinghamshire and England batsman Derek Randall has been confirmed as the speaker for the next meeting of the Midlands branch of the Cricket Society on Tuesday 19 March.
Randall enjoyed a 23-year career in the at the county game, where he made 488 First Class and 467 List A appearances.
He went on to win 47 Test caps for England, scoring 2,470 runs at an average of 33.37 runs with seven hundreds. He also won 49 One-Day International caps, where he scored 1,067 runs.
The meeting, which starts at 8pm, will be held at Edgbaston and Warwickshire Members, friends and Guests are welcome to attend but are asked to support the raffle.
