Warwickshire County Cricket Club will welcome Members and spectators back to Edgbaston for the LV= Insurance County Championship fixture against Nottinghamshire from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 May following the safe return of crowds to sporting events.

Edgbaston will operate at 25% capacity for this fixture, as per UK Government guidelines, and all seating will be reserved and socially distanced.

From 10am on Thursday 29 April, Warwickshire Members will have first priority to secure their seat.

Stuart Cain, Chief Executive, said: “The Members were brilliant last year, with many donating their fees to support the club during the COVID lockdown, so it’s great to finally get the chance to say thank you in person.”

“It’s crucial that those attending feel secure so we’ve taken the latest government advice and combined it with our own experiences from last year’s pilot to create what we think is the safest possible environment to enjoy cricket.

“We’ve also invested heavily during lockdown in the Edgbaston app which means there won’t be any paper tickets, people can order food and drink using click and collect and they can quickly see how busy certain areas of the stadium are before leaving their seat.  So, I’d encourage Members to download it now and give it a go.”
