“Like many of you, the players and management are absolutely devastated that our NatWest T20 Blast campaign has ended at this early stage, particularly after playing so well in the early part of the competition.
“We played some good cricket in the last few games, but have not been consistent enough at the critical times of matches to get us across the line.
“Five defeats in our last six matches is not the standard that we set ourselves as a club and we need to improve quickly as we move into crucial matches in other formats next week.
“The support received from our Members and fans throughout this year’s NatWest T20 Blast has been fantastic, not just at Edgbaston but on the road. We thank you all for your continued support and we will come back stronger from this experience.”
