Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
We recently asked Birmingham Bears players Chris Wright, Josh Poysden and Laurie Evans to sit around a table and then we set them the difficult challenge of drawing each other. As we all know art is a highly contextual study, as Marina Abramovic famously said, “If you make the best bread in the world you’re not an artist, but if you bake the bread in the gallery, you’re an artist.”
Baking aside, our boys are actually pretty terrible at life drawing and no amount of context or abstraction can save their blushes, but what our lads might lack in technique they more than make up for with some pretty good chat.
