Cricket fans have just over two weeks to secure the best price for their 2017 summer at Edgbaston, with the Early Bird window closing at midnight on Tuesday 31 January.

Following on from the recent appointment of Ashley Giles as Sport Director and Jim Troughton as First Team Coach, Warwickshire fans can save up to £25 on Membership for the coming season, which includes 39 days of domestic cricket and access to exclusive tickets for Edgbaston’s biggest programme of major match cricket.

England return to their happiest hunting ground on Thursday 17 August for their first Day/Night Investec Test Match against West Indies, with supporters able to save up to £10 on adult tickets if booking in the Early Bird window.

26 Wins. 15 Draws. 8 Losses

England have now lost just once since 2001 at fortress Edgbaston and will be looking to add another victory to mark their 50th Test Match in Birmingham this summer. Since 1902 when Edgbaston hosted its first Test Match, England have recorded an impressive record which includes 26 wins, 15 draws and only 8 losses – its simply England’s favourite ground!
The Edgbaston crowd was up there with the loudest I can remember. With some of the chants, even guys who have played a fair bit of cricket were looking at each other and realising how special it was.
It’s been a few years of unbelievable Test cricket at Edgbaston! England bowled out Australia for just 136 in the first innings as they demolished Australia by 8-wickets in the 2015 Ashes series. The following summer, Edgbaston erupted when Moeen Ali took the wicket of Sohail Khan on the fifth day of the Test as England claimed an unlikely 141-run victory over Pakistan.

More memories like these will be created when England take on the West Indies on Thursday 17 August in the UK’s first ever Day/Night Investec Test Match which will mark the 50th Test Match at Edgbaston.

Unmissable summer at Edgbaston

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire CCC, said: “The summer of 2017 promises to be one of the most exciting in Edgbaston’s proud history of hosting some of the biggest matches in cricket.
