With Specsavers County Championship now underway, Warwickshire’s other squads will begin a busy programme of matches over the coming weeks.

Warwickshire Women start their Royal London One Day campaign towards the end of the month against Kent on Sunday 30th April and Sussex on Monday 1st May. Both matches are at home at The Edgbaston Foundation Ground, 11am starts and admission is free.

The Boys U19 squad start with a run of four matches across the Easter period and following weekend.

For the first time, Warwickshire have entered the Birmingham League Williamson Trophy (40 over competition), the opening two rounds of which are played on Saturday 15th April and Saturday 22nd April. Both matches are away and against Kidderminster Cricket Club in Round One (15th April) and either Shifnal Cricket Club or Ombersley Cricket Club (22nd April) depending on the results in the first round.

We are delighted to host Hertfordshire County Cricket Club for a two day match on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th April at The Edgbaston Foundation Ground. Day One commences at 12pm and Day Two at 11am. Spectators most welcome.

Three boys teams are in action on Sunday 23rd April. The U19’s take on Moseley Cricket Club in a friendly 50 over match at Moseley Cricket Club, Streetsbrook Road, Solihull commencing at 12pm. The U17’s play their first warm up match against Shrewsbury School 1st XI at Shrewsbury commencing at 11am. Finally, our U17 Development team play Repton School 1st XI at Repton commencing at 11.30am.
