Edgbaston Stadium has confirmed that tickets for day three of the LV= Insurance Test match between England and New Zealand have sold out.
With general sale for the fixture opening at 10am on Monday 22 February, all tickets for day three have been snapped up through priority windows for Warwickshire Members, for ticket holders from last year’s scheduled Test between England and West Indies who chose credit instead of a refund, and through the public ballot.
Alongside the high demand for the third day, 80 per cent of tickets have also sold out for day one and two, with the Test match getting underway in Birmingham on Thursday 10 June.
“It’s great to see such high demand for live sporting events, particularly Test match cricket,” said Alex Perkins, Sales and Marketing Director.
“This upcoming fixture between England and New Zealand has proven to be one of the fastest selling Test matches we’ve ever seen at Edgbaston.
Alex Perkins, Sales & Marketing Director
“Whilst there’s a lot of uncertainty in the world at present, we’re committed to doing everything that we can to secure the safe return of spectators and we are working closely with our local authorities and our key stakeholders to achieve this.”
To help fans book tickets for the LV= Insurance Test match with confidence, Edgbaston has implemented a Ticket Refund Guarantee, which ensures that purchasers will get the option of a refund for the value of their ticket(s) if the fixture or their booking is cancelled, or if they are unable to attend a match they purchased a ticket for because of a change in date.
