This Sunday 17 June we are opening the stadium up for our Edgbaston Foundation, Community Day. This includes free entry for WCCC vs West Indies A as well a whole host of free activities and entertainment. Scroll down for everything you need to know!
Key Timings
10am – Gates Open
10am – 3.30pm Free Inflatable Games
10am – 12.30pm – Free Facepainting
11am – 6.30pm approx – WCCC vs West Indies A
2.30pm – Junior Bears Club Members Press Conference
3pm – 4.30pm- Free intro to cricket coaching in indoor school
As well as all of the above, the day will also include free health checks for over 35s, a steel band providing the music and in the interval our brand new WCCC mascot is going to be revealed! There’ll be plenty of food and drink available to purchase throughout the day.
Parking
Parking onsite is extremely limited. Where possible, we encourage the use of public transportation. Onsite parking will be £5 flat rate and is on a first come, first served basis. Members with 2018 car park stickers will be granted free entry.
Picnics
Food is allowed in the stadium – however alcohol, bottles and cans are prohibited.
Under 16s
All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There is a buggy storage area available in No1 nets – opposite the main entrance. There is a special food area called Cubs Corner where there will be kids lunch boxes for sale.
Carvery Restuarant

Press Conference
If your child is in the Junior Bears Club you should have recieved an email from Emma Windsor for instructions on timings etc. If you have any questions please email emmawindsor@edgbaston.com
