Edgbaston Stadium will host the opening Men’s LV= Insurance Ashes Test in 2023 as part of one of the venue’s biggest ever Major Match schedule.

The oldest rivalry in cricket will return to Birmingham twice next year with the Men’s Ashes Test taking place from Friday 16 June to Tuesday 20 June and the Women’s Ashes IT20 following on Saturday 1 July.

In addition, Edgbaston will host the third Men’s Vitality IT20 of a four-match series between England and New Zealand on Sunday 3 September and Vitality Blast Finals Day, which the date will be announced in due course.

The fixtures follow a record-breaking 2022 for Edgbaston with over 400,000 spectators visiting the stadium for England Men’s Test and IT20 with India, Finals Day and the Commonwealth Games.
