For one day only, Edgbaston Stadium will be renamed Joel Corry Stadium to celebrate the performance of international DJ Joel Corry at MidlandsMania on Friday 14 June.

April Fools. We’ve been Edgbaston for 140 years and will be for 2025. But Joel Corry is still coming to Edgbaston for MidlandsMania, an event that is not to be missed.

The star music act will headline the men’s double-header which will see two Midlands T20s take place at the iconic Birmingham venue, including Bears v Notts Outlaws and Derbyshire Falcons v Leicestershire Foxes.

The international music star, who has over five billion global streams and sold over 11 million singles in the UK, will be performing in the interval between the day’s two matches.

It’s the first time a UK chart-topping artist has performed at a Vitality Blast fixture and to mark the occasion, the Club has taken the decision to rename the stadium for the day.

Chris Airey, Head of Marketing & Brand, said: “Its set to be a special occasion as one of the biggest DJs in the world comes to Birmingham for the headline set at our first ever MidlandsMania showpiece.

“We wanted to mark the day and there’s no better way then to honour our special guest by renaming the venue Joel Corry Stadium for the day.

“We don’t want fans to worry, the iconic Edgbaston name will return after before we welcome local rivals Worcestershire Rapids the following Friday night.”

Over 5,000 tickets have already been sold for MidlandsMania and you can secure your seat now online here.
