England duo Ben Duckett and Jamie Smith will be available for the Birmingham Phoenix following the conclusion of the Test series against West Indies.

The ECB has announced the availability of the England Men’s players, including Captain Ben Stokes who will play in the The Hundred for Northern Superchargers and is set to return for the fixture against Birmingham Phoenix at Edgbaston.

The batters in England Men’s Test squad – Zak Crawley, Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook and Smith – will all be available for their teams in The Hundred immediately after the end of the third Rothesay Test match at Edgbaston, starting on Friday 26 July.

The availability of England Men’s bowlers will be dependent on workload and international selection, but Gus Atkinson, Matthew Potts and Dillon Pennington are all likely to feature in The Hundred from the early rounds. Chris Woakes is expected to be available from Tuesday 6 August.

England Women’s players are available for The Hundred with their summer international commitments finished.

A number of replacement players have also been confirmed, covering England Men’s international selection in the early rounds and injury, as New Zealand pace bowler Tim Southee joins the Phoenix as replacement for Naseem Shah.

Tickets are again selling fast after more than 500,000 attended last year’s competition, including a record 310,000 in the women’s competition. The Hundred’s blend of high-quality sport and entertainment saw 41% of all tickets sold to families, 23% to juniors and 30% to women.

The opening fixture at Edgbaston on Saturday 3 August against Southern Brave has sold over 15,000 tickets and only limited seats are now left.
