Former Warwickshire captain Dermot Reeve will be the guest at the next meeting of the Midland Branch Cricket Society, which takes place at Edgbaston on 8 October, starting at 8pm.

Dermot enjoyed a long career with the Bears and led the club to the most successful period in its playing history, which started with the famous NatWest Trophy win at Lord’s over Sussex and was followed with the treble-winning season in 1994 and the double in 1995.

Warwickshire Members, Friends and Guests are welcome to attend and are asked to support the raffle.

This meeting will be preceded by the Society AGM at 7.30pm, to which only Society members are invited.
