It was another special night for Sam Hain.
The Bears batter, named Talbots Law Player of the Match, not only secured victory for his side with 53*, but passed the 4,000 T20 career run mark.
“I thought we set it up bowling first,” said the right-hander. “I thought we bowled beautifully to restrict Yorkshire to 140-odd.
“As a batting unit it was a case of getting ahead of the rate. I thought Mouse batted beautifully and I think Beth is a great talent.
“We got a nice little win and we’ll move on to Sunday.”
Speaking of the milestone he added: “I was aware. Yeah. I try to not look at that sort of stuff, but it’s nice. I don’t care too much about milestones anymore, and as I’ve been here for a while, I just want to enjoy my cricket.”
