Warwickshire seamer Henry Brookes has joined Derbyshire on a short term loan.
The 23-year-old, who has made 28 First Class appearances for the Bears taking 73 wickets, will join up with Mickey Arthur’s side ahead of this week’s trip to Leicestershire.
First Team Coach Mark Robinson said: “Henry’s loan move to Derbyshire will give him invaluable game time.
“We’re incredibly fortunate to have such a destructive attack and at this stage it’s important for Henry to stay prepared for any first team opportunities.
“Henry is a talented seamer, who is highly thought of at Edgbaston, and we’re excited to see how he bowls under the watchful eye of Mickey Arthur.”
Following Derbyshire’s visit to Leicestershire, the Falcons host Gloucestershire at The Incora County Ground.
The Bears head to Hampshire this week and follow with a home clash against Essex, before hosting Blast Off – the Vitality Blast curtain raiser – on Saturday 20 May.
