Warwickshire batter Adam Hose will leave Edgbaston when his contract finishes at the end of the 2022 season to join Worcestershire.

The 29-year-old joined the Club in July 2017 and played a leading role in helping the Bears reach Vitality Blast Finals Day that year.

Hose became the third Warwickshire player to hit a T20 century in 2020, before adding his second against Worcestershire Rapids this summer. The right-hander also struck his maiden first-class hundred against his former county Somerset in 2019.

In total, Hose has to date played 89 matches in all formats for the Bears, scoring 2,560 runs.

Hose said: “I would like to thank everyone who has made my five years at the Club so special. The decision to leave has been incredibly difficult, but I still have ambitions to play regularly across all formats.

“I will always look back at my time with the Bears fondly and I wish the Club all the best.”

Director of Cricket, Paul Farbrace said: “Adam has been a fantastic servant for the Club, and we thank him for his efforts since he arrived in 2017. During that time, Adam has become a fearless T20 batter who has made significant contributions in that format. We wish Adam all the best for the future.

“We’re now focused on ending the current season well with an eye on 2023 and how we can strengthen our squad across all formats.”
