Warwickshire County Cricket Club confirmed the appointment of former Premiership Rugby Chief Executive, Mark McCafferty, as Chair following a comprehensive interview process at the end of last year.
During his unveiling, we spoke with the new Chairman about his excitement for the role and what his plans are for the future.
“I’m very excited obviously,” said McCafferty.
“It’s a privilege first of all, but it’s also a big responsibility and I’m conscious of both of those things.
“So on one side it’s great and as a young boy growing up in this area to think one day I might be sitting in the Chair, guiding the club through its next phase of development is at times unbelievable.”
