Former England batter and selector James Taylor is confirmed as the speaker at the next Cricket Society meeting, which takes place at Edgbaston at 2pm on Tuesday 16 January.

A right-handed batter and occasional right-arm leg-break bowler, Taylor became the youngest Leicestershire one-day centurion and first-class double centurion and the 653rd man to play Test cricket for England and the first born in the 1990s.

A serious heart condition forced him to retire from all cricket in April 2016 with Taylor holding selector and head scout positions with England. Currently, Taylor is the Assistant Coach for his boyhood Foxes.

Warwickshire Members, friends and guests are very welcome to attend but are asked to support the raffle.
