India spinning all-rounder Jayant Yadav couldn't hide his delight at joining Warwickshire.
The 32-year-old, who returned to the Test fold earlier this year, arrives at Edgbaston alongside international teammate Mohammed Siraj, aiming to finish the year strongly with three games remaining.
“I’m pretty excited right now to representing a very prestigious club in this prestigious tournament,” said Yadav after his first training session. “When this opportunity came my way I was very excited to join Warwickshire as a county professional and I’m really looking forward it.
“Every opportunity is about learning and improving your game and different conditions pose different challenges. I’m here to get new experiences and I’m really looking forward to playing in England.
“As a cricketer I’m very composed and I love playing the game. That’s why I’m here. I think everyone expects results and I’m here to deliver results.”
