Bears legend Jeetan Patel has returned to Edgbaston ahead of the 2020 Vitality Blast campaign.
“I can’t wait,” said Patel. “The exciting thing now is that the younger guys have played enough games to step up and take the opportunity they’ve got to take the club forward.
“Obviously, my last game for the Bears was last September and I wasn’t available for the red ball, but since then a lot has happened.
“I’m still very excited to play cricket and prove to myself that I’ve still got it in me to compete against the best.”
