Joining Our Team
Are you a detail-oriented and experienced accountant looking for an exciting role in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team at Edgbaston Cricket Ground. You’ll lead on all financial and accounting activities, including producing accurate monthly management accounts, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements. You will also manage and mentor a Finance Assistant, collaborate closely with other departments to provide up-to-date financial insights, and contribute to key decision-making across the organisation. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes supporting major match days, with up to 10 days required between May and September.
If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:
- A professional accountancy qualification (or at final stage) and a degree in finance (desirable).
- Strong time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in data analysis (desirable), financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Teamworking and leadership skills, with the ability to train and support others.
- Experience using SAP, Sage, and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel).
