Tom Latham has returned to New Zealand ahead of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and will return in time for the Vitality Blast quarter-final away at Somerset on 6 September.

Latham most recently scored 104 off 51 balls in the Bears’ comprehensive victory away to Derbyshire Falcons to confirm qualification for the quarter-final.

Sam Hain is away on paternity leave following the birth of his first child.

Hain has been in excellent form recently, scoring six County Championship half-centuries in a row, and passing 5,000 T20 career runs.

He has enjoyed yet another successful Blast campaign, leading the run-scoring for the Bears with 439 runs at an average of 43.90.

Rugby Cricket Festival returns this August

Bears will once again be taking county cricket on the road for the second annual Rugby Cricket Festival, held at the historic Rugby School.

The venue will host three games against Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday 10 August, Kent Spitfires on Wednesday 13 August and Middlesex on Friday 15 August. Tickets are selling fast, with adults £15 and U16s free.
