Jake Lintott and Dan Mousley have signed up to play in the inaugural UAE International League T20 tournament.

The Bears duo will head to the middle east in early January to prepare for the competition that was originally scheduled to be played in 2022.

Lintott, who is currently in the UK, will play for the Desert Vipers, whilst Mousley will travel straight from Adelaide, where he is playing for West Torrens CC, to feature for the MI Emirates.

The news follows a strong Bears theme as Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes and Chris Benjamin are due to play for Paul Farbrace’s Sharjah Warriors.

“I’m incredibly excited to get to the UAE and play in one of the biggest T20 competitions in the world,” said Mousley.

“Although it’s only in it’s first year, you can already see how strong the tournament is by the names that have signed up and I’m really determined to test myself on the world stage.

“I’m really enjoying my time in Adelaide and I feel that the preparation I’ve put in over the past few months will stand me in good stead come January.”
