In collaboration with Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival, The Sheila Waterfield Quartet will be performing in the Tom Dollery Lounge from 1pm on Thursday 24 July.

During the lunch interval of Day Three of the County Championship clash between Warwickshire and Worcestershire, spectators are in for a special treat.

In collaboration with Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival, The Sheila Waterfield Quartet will be performing in the Tom Dollery Lounge from 1pm on Thursday 24 July.

Led by the charismatic vocalist Sheila Waterfield, the quartet is known for their interpretations of jazz standards and blues classics. Their performance promises to add a twist to the day’s cricket.

This event is available to all attendees in the Tom Dollery Lounge.

Shelia Waterfield

Sheila is a UK based vocalist, composer and band leader with a style that draws upon jazz, blues, soul and Latin influences.

Working in all musical settings, from a piano duo up to a 17 piece Big Band, Sheila can be seen performing at events and festivals throughout the Country and overseas.

She is an established name on the UK jazz scene and has performed at London’s Jazz Cafe, The Millennium Dome, CBS Arena, Ronnie Scott’s and has been a regular feature at the Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival for several years. She enjoys collaborations and performances with many of the UK’s top musicians.

Sheila is delighted to have released an album of her own compositions in 2023; the songs tell stories of loss, love, hope, gratitude and belief.
