First Team Coach Mark Robinson spoke after his side were halted in their search for a final session victory by bad weather.
“There’s lot we can take from it,” said Robinson. “Our desire to fight, our desire to do well and keep running in. As a batting unit to not give it away, bat time and do all the things that Tony Frost and Ian Westwood have been wanting them to do. It’s the same with Pop’s (Graeme Welch) boys.
“We’re not the perfect team yet but we’re going to be a very a good team – I know that. We’re going to grow and learn and get better and the signs are really good.”
