With next years landmark fixture also seeing Edgbaston host its 50th Test Match, England will be hoping to extend their winning record at the ground supported by a packed Edgbaston crowd between 17th-21st August for the first of a three match Investec Test Series.

Edgbaston Chief Executive Neil Snowball believes the match represents a huge milestone for both the venue and cricket in England and Wales. “We have been delighted with the initial reaction and the early demand for tickets since the announcement that day/night test cricket is coming to Edgbaston. I think there is a lot of intrigue around the concept with spectators eager to be part of history. We have hosted some thrilling international matches in recent years and the atmosphere generated from the Edgbaston crowd should make this a unique and memorable occasion for supporters and players. As a venue we will be doing everything we can to ensure the matchday experience is second to none for next years Test Match”.
