Following the announcement earlier this week that the second day (28 July) of the Warwickshire men’s team friendly versus Worcestershire is part of a Government pilot programme to support the safe return of spectators to live sporting events, 2020 Club Members can apply for tickets now.

The game is still subject to approval from Birmingham City Council Safety Advisory Group. However, 2020 Members can now claim a complimentary ticket by logging into their online account at edgbaston.com or call the Ticket Hotline on 0121 369 1994 (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday) and agree to a Health Declaration.

Tickets can subsequently be downloaded on a smart phone or printed off at home to secure entry; no tickets will be distributed at the stadium or available on the day of the match and Membership cards alone will not be accepted.

Due to social distancing guidelines, the reserved seats will be spaced out across selected general admission areas of the stadium and a maximum of three tickets will be available for Members who are within the same social bubble. In order to support the Government’s Test & Trace programme, a name and email address must be provided for all attendees.

Please note that the Tom Dollery Lounge, David Heath Suite and Skyline will not open for this game and a dedicated area for Disabled Members is available at the front of the Eric Hollies Stand. Disabled Members can book tickets through the Ticket Hotline only.

Play starts at 11am and 90 overs are expected to be bowled in the day.

Warwickshire CCC hopes that it can continue supporting the Government’s pilot programme for the safe return of spectators to live sporting events, and secure further opportunities for Club Members to attend Bob Willis Trophy and Vitality Blast fixtures at Edgbaston.

To support the Club in delivering a successful pilot programme for this friendly versus Worcestershire, all Members who wish to attend are asked to read through the match day Code of Conduct and the Spectator Guide.
