England’s Royal London One-Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka at Edgbaston on Friday 24 June is selling fast, with tickets already sold out in the Skyline Terrace, Tom Dollery Lounge and David Heath Suite.

Edgbaston is expecting a full house and potentially a record ODI crowd to see Eoin Morgan’s back in Birmingham for the second match of the Royal London Series, with limited availability in the Eric Hollies, Stanley Barnes and RES Wyatt stands.

The day/night match gets underway at 2pm and remaining tickets are priced from just £26 for adults and from £6 for under 16s.

Arnes Pobric, Marketing Manager at Edgbaston, said: “England broke records at last year’s Royal London ODI against New Zealand, scoring their best ever 50-over total of 408 for nine and a biggest winning margin of 210 runs.

“Eoin Morgan’s team have made incredible progress in the last 12 months and with this year’s match taking place on a Friday, it promises to be a fantastic occasion for the thousands of fans in attendance.

“We expect the remaining tickets to be snapped up quickly and recommend purchasing now to avoid disappointment.”

Edgbaston was rated as the best international venue in England and Wales for atmosphere in 2015, with spectators scoring it 9.5 out of 10 on day three of England’s Investec Ashes Test Match against Australia.
