Hosted by Club Journalist Brian Halford, Warwickshire and England all-rounder Chris Woakes answered questions from Members in the latest Members' Q&A via Zoom.

After coming through the Club’s pathway and Academy programme, Birmingham-born Woakes made his Warwickshire debut in 2006 and he went on to play a huge role in the strong Bears team that won five domestic trophies across all formats between 2010 and 2016.

He made his first England appearance in a T20 International versus Australia at the Adelaide Oval in 2011, and has since won 33 Test, 101 One-Day International and eight T20 International caps.

He played a leading role in last year’s ICC Cricket World Cup triumph where he was named Man of the Match in the Semi-Final victory against Australia at Edgbaston, before lifting the trophy for the first time at Lord’s in the Final.

Woakes answered a wide variety of questions from Members and Junior Bears in this special online Q&A.
