Warwickshire Members joined First Team Coach Mark Robinson and Director of Cricket Paul Farbrace for a live Q&A via Zoom.
Hosted by Club Journalist Brian Halford, the pair answered questions on the 2021 campaign, overseas recruitment and their excitement at working together.
“We’ve spoken to a lot of players,” said Farbrace regarding the overseas search.
“We’re fortunate that we have contacts in and around the international teams to find out what the schedules are and to make sure we know when teams are going to be available.
“As we’ve seen with England nothing is certain in terms of overseas tours. We’ve seen today that South Africa have announced they’re going to play some games in Ireland in July so at the moment confirming overseas players is not easy.
“The one thing I would say is we’re quite far down the route of finding someone for the first eight of the ten County Championship games.”
