It was another fabulous evening for Warwickshire Members as fast bowling all-rounder Shaun Pollock, who enjoyed seasons with the Bears in 1996 and 2002, joined us for a Q&A.

Speaking from his home in Durban, Pollock reminisced about his four wickets in four balls on debut, winning the B&H Cup in 2002, with victory over Essex at Lord’s and his fantastic international career.

Pollock was also a key part of the South Africa team, which achieved a huge amount of success in the mid-late 1990s and early 2000s, and despite the bad memories spoke with honesty when recollecting the Proteas 1999 Cricket World Cup semi-final defeat at Edgbaston.
