Following this morning’s communication about the two options available for 2020 Members, Warwickshire County Cricket Club can confirm that Membership prices will be frozen for the 2021 county season.
This price freeze will cover all current 2020 annual Membership categories and include the early bird discount window if purchasing a Membership before 31 January 2021.
All details will be released in early September and Members who do choose the refund option for their 2020 subscription will easily be able to renew their 2021 membership via a simple online process, reducing the need for forms and paper renewals.
The Club is also aware of the question that some Members have posed about why there is not an option to rollover 2020 subscriptions to 2021.
This matter was discussed at length with the Board and Membership Committee and the decision was taken to simplify matters via offering donation or refund options.
In addition, the outbreak of COVID-19 is affecting a lot of individuals and organisations and Warwickshire CCC is not immune to this. The Club believes that offering these options is both simpler for members to understand, but will also minimise the financial impact on it in the short to medium term.
This will allow the Club to plan longer-term for investment into Warwickshire teams of all levels and in facilities at Edgbaston Stadium, whilst also providing a reward and recognition process for all Members who chose to donate their subscription for 2020.
Membership for 2021 is due to go on sale in October. Full details will be announced in due course.
