Official Hospitality Provider at Edgbaston, Keith Prowse, have partnered with chef Tom Shepherd to curate a bespoke menu for guests attending the Warwickshire Suite across Major Match Days in 2025.

Shepherd will be bringing his culinary vision to the premium restaurant at Edgbaston, Warwickshire Suite, elevating the dining experience for guests at the Men’s Test against India, Men’s ODI with West Indies and Vitality Blast Finals Day.

Tom was born in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, and trained locally to perfect his craft. He has a distinguished career spanning over a decade in some of the UK’s finest kitchens.

His experience includes time as Development Chef at two Michelin Star Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham. Prior to that he was Sous Chef to Michael Wignall at Surrey’s two Michelin Star restaurant, The Latymer and Head Chef at Birmingham’s one Michelin Star restaurant, Adam’s.

In 2018, Tom was awarded the Acorn Award, recognising him as one of the top 30 under 30 in the hospitality industry. This paved the way to opening his own restaurant, Upstairs by Tom Shepherd, in Lichfield in 2021 and was awarded a Michelin Star just four months after opening, the first Michelin Star for Staffordshire.

Upstairs offers an intimate and refined atmosphere where guests can fully immerse themselves in the culinary experience.  The menu comprises of modern British dishes that use local and seasonal produce with subtle influences from Japan and east Asia.

Shepherd commented: “As a passionate cricket fan, I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Edgbaston Stadium to create a bespoke menu in the Warwickshire Suite. It’s an incredible opportunity to present my culinary style during the biggest fixtures this summer, combining the excitement of world-class cricket with exceptional dining.”

Tom will be designing a custom fine dining experience, showcasing his signature style with modern interpretations of classic dishes, subtly infused with influences from other cultures.
