The 18-year-old was speaking at Edgbaston after returning from the Under-19s Cricket World Cup in South Africa.
One hundred, two fifties and thousands of memories.
Dan Mousley may have returned to Edgbaston following the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, but the accolades keep coming.
Firing 241 runs at an average of 80.33, Mousley saved the best till last when he sealed silverware in the Plate competition with a match-winning 111 against Sri Lanka in the final, which ended up the second-highest individual score of the 48-game competition and earning himself an opening berth in The Cricketer’s Team of the Tournament.
Now back in the Second City, Mousley is enduring one or two banterish taunts in the changing rooms, but he’s well aware of the impact and statement he’s produced over the winter.
