Nine members of the squad which recently lifted the Vitality Women’s County T20 Cup took part in the six-team competition from 6 August to 1 September 2019.
They have been travelling around the country playing their fixtures for a month and will have learnt a massive amount from the experience.

Amy Jones, Jo Gardner and Kathryn Bryce played for Loughborough Lightning, whilst Thea Brookes, Marie Kelly and Issy Wong represented Southern Vipers.
Georgia Davies, Ria Fackrell and Gwenan Davis played for Yorkshire Diamonds, Lancashire Thunder and Surrey Stars respectively.
Finals Day, which took place at the 1st Central County Ground, Hove, saw three Bears feature in two matches.
The top placed team over ten games automatically qualify for the final, while second play third before the curtain-raiser.
Lightning’s Amy Jones, who was fifth in total runs with 309, and Jo Gardner faced Marie Kelly in the semi-final.
Kelly’s Southern Vipers were victorious, before falling to a six-wicket defeat against Western Storm, who became champions for the second time.

“They have been travelling around the country playing their fixtures for a month and will have learnt a massive amount from the experience.
“Marie Kelly, Ria Fackrell, Georgia Davis, Issy Wong, Kathryn Bryce, Jo Gardner all made their debuts with Amy Jones, Thea Brookes and Gwenan Davis returning.
“Three players were involved in Finals Day enjoying the atmosphere at the County Ground in Hove.
“Issy took her first wicket in her 3rd game in typical Wong fashion – short ball not being timed and a catch taken at deep square leg.
“Kathryn Bryce opened the bowling for Loughborough Lightning and ended up taking 8 wickets across the competition with a good economy. Amy Jones scored 309 runs with a strike rate of 115.
“Marie Kelly didn’t get off to the best of starts damaging her finger at the very first training session and being side-lined. She recovered to feature in the final scoring 3 from 3 balls and taking a sharp catch at mid-on to dismiss the dangerous Smriti Mandhana.
“The girls will take a few weeks off now and return to training a few weeks before Christmas.”
