Warwickshire head into their final match of the LV= Insurance County Championship at home to Somerset with the opportunity to lift the title for an eighth time.

The Bears currently sit second in the table, just 3.5 points behind leaders Hampshire, and Bears seamer Liam Norwell is pleased the side were able to respond and give themselves a chance at Edgbaston.

“It was a really good win and quite simply we’ve got a chance going into next week,” said Norwell.

“We’re three-and-a-half points off the top and we’ve got to go out and play our best cricket again.

“Somerset are a team we haven’t played our best cricket against in the last few years. It’s a team we really want to put that right against.

“It’s a massive game for us and everybody is up for it.”
