The men’s team, based at Edgbaston, will face seven other teams in the competition when it starts in summer 2020. The Phoenix side will include local icon picks and world cup winners Ali and Chris Woakes, plus Pat Brown.
In the Hundred Draft, Birmingham Phoenix welcomed 14 new players including New Zealand international Kane Williamson, all-rounder Ravi Bopara and top-order batsman Liam Livingston.
