Warwickshire CCC Academy Director Paul Greetham joined an illustrious panel at Birmingham City Football Club to film a debate piece for a new sports TV chat show Ballsy Women.

The TV show was chaired by Olympic medallist Kelly Sothertonand discussed issues of Gender Equality and Sport Psychology (Mental Skills Training), and featured opinions from; David Parker Birmingham City Ladies’ manager, Martin Palmer sports’ lawyer, professional footballer Pernille Harder and Kris Lines from Aston University.

We don’t want to give too much of the show away, but the debate around Gender Equality is fascinating. To give you a sneak preview, Paul Greetham tells the panel that the Warwickshire girls thrive in the mixed sex academy environment and many girls prefer the faster pace bowling of the males, as it comes on to the bat quicker. The debate then goes deeper into the disparities between men’s and women’s sport and some very progressive ideas are discussed.

If you’re hunger for more on this interesting debate then you’re just going to have to tune into the show to find out more.
