Bears men’s team cricketers from Ian King – who made his debut in 1952 and has cap no. 267 – through to the latest First Class debutant George Garrett – cap number 545 – were in attendance for the Years of the Bears celebratory dinner, alongside members of the women’s team and the Academy.

Delivered by Warwickshire County Cricket Club and supported by the Warwickshire Old County Cricketer’s Association, each past and present Bear in attendance on the evening was presented with a special commemorative cap, embroidered with their name and First Class playing number.

The event also saw the 1994 treble-winning squad honoured by Westside Business Improvement District, which made a special presentation to mark the team’s inclusion in the Broad Street Walk of Stars.
