The Vitality Blast returns later this month, with both Warwickshire Bears’ teams starting their quest for silverware on Friday 22 May.

While the women’s team travel to Chelmsford to take on Essex, the men play Gloucestershire in Bristol before EdgBLASTon hosts the Blast Off double-header two days later.

Tickets for Blast Off on Sunday 24 May remain on offer at £15 for adults and £5 for U16s.

So that you’re Prepared for the Bears, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the players set to fire during T20 season. First up, the batters…

Charis Pavley
It has been a sensational start to the year for Charis Pavley. Set to be a star for the Bears for many years to come, the stylish left hander has recorded two 100s and a 50 in the Women’s One Day Cup in just six games this season, performances that earned her a late call up to England’s One Day International side. Pavely will be looking to carry that form into the Vitality Blast as she makes her first starts in the competition.

Sam Hain
With an outstanding record for the Bears in T20 cricket, Sam Hain is another to watch closely in 2026. He’s represented Warwickshire in every season of the competition since 2016, racking up an impressive 4239 runs from 129 games all at an average above 44. With a hundred and 33 50s in that time, his last three seasons have been his most prolific.

Georgia Redmayne
The Bears bolstered their batting line-up with the signing of Australian star Georgia Redmayne at the start of the year, and she will bring plenty of quality and experience to the side. The 32-year-old has featured in franchise leagues around the world, including with the Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League and with London Spirit and Welsh Fire in The Hundred. Redmayne has over 150 professional T20 appearances with just shy of 3,000 runs to her name.

Alex Davies
Captain of the Bears for several years, Alex Davies is another that has scored bucketloads at the top of the order in T20 cricket. Having signed for the Bears in 2021, Davies has since gone on to impress across all formats, especially in the Blast. Across 136 games in the competition, the Englishman is closing in 3,000 runs with a total of 17 50s to his name.

Davina Perrin
At only 19-years-old, Perrin has already showcased her firepower at the top of the order. In last year’s Blast, she ended the tournament as the third-highest run scorer, with 385 runs coming at a strike rate of 140. She also impressed in The Hundred, becoming only the second women’s player to score a hundred in the competition, doing so off only 43 balls for Northern Super Chargers. Expect fireworks.
