The club has received record demand for tickets for the big local derby against Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 10 July with 3,000 tickets already sold.

Tickets first went on sale to Members and those who registered for our Priority Window and it has resulted in record early bird sales, with ticket sales up 300% compared to the same point last year.

Due to increased demand, the Bears v Rapids derby will this season have reserved seating in place and supporters will be able to pick the seats they want.

Supporters can get first access to general admission tickets at the best price by registering for our Priority Window, which is now open and will close at midnight on Sunday 1 March.

Supporters who register for the Priority Window from today will get an email on Sunday with a link and promo code to buy tickets before they go on general sale.

Neil Snowball, Chief Executive of Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said: “The T20 derby with Worcestershire Rapids is one of the biggest events in the domestic cricket calendar.

“With a capacity crowd expected, we want to give our Members and spectators the opportunity to book and reserve their preferred seats in advance, rather than need to worry about finding a seat upon arrival. This will also ensure that they get the stand that provides the best experience for them, such as the Drayton Manor Family Stand, the Eric Hollies Stand or behind the bowler’s arm.

“In recent years, the atmosphere that has been generated on derby night has rivalled what we’ve experienced on international match days and we’re very excited about our next meeting with Worcestershire Rapids.”

Warwickshire Members who have already purchased for the 2020 season will receive their allocation of four guest passes in the post. One of these passes can be used to admit a guest into the Tom Dollery Lounge, David Heath Suite or Skyline East. However, more guest passes can be used in general admission areas of the stadium.

Members can claim their free ticket to the Worcestershire Rapids fixture by logging into their personal online account at tickets.edgbaston.com between 10am on Monday 3 February and 4pm on Friday 21 February.

Alternatively, this can be claimed in-person at Store ‘94 from 10am to 4pm, Monday-Friday.
